We are spoiled for good food in Tacoma, and the La Cá Bar is no exception! Their bahn mi sandwiches are my favorite in town. Lots of meat, fresh tasting pickled additions and full of flavor. They also have seriously delicious apps. Highly recommend!

The 19. Mì Gà Quay has a nice refreshing flavor. The noodles are not a type I like but the refreshing broth and big chicken pieces are great. The 7. Five Spice Chicken Wings are good flavor wise. The only problem I had is that seem to be light on the special sauce.

5. Salmon Fresh Rolls & 3. Spring Rolls - where was the salmon, shrimp & pork? 21. Beef Phở & 22. Chicken Phở - horrible no flavor & meat nasty. One star for the 16. Grilled Pork Bánh Mì it was okay. **Pho King, 1020 M.L.K. Jr Way, Tacoma, WA 98405, the BEST Pho EVER, bummer they are closed on Sundays ☹️

Food was fresh flavorful and yummy. The veggies were crisp the noodles were cooked proper and the meat was juicy and has a nice crust.

The Bahn Mi was dry and pretty flavorless. The wings were ok but could have been better flavored. The deep fried rolls were ok but tiny. Everything was pretty disappointing, especially for how much it cost.
