Overall, very good. I had the 1. Kake Udon and the broth was very flavorful and hot. I had never had udon noodles before and wanted to try them. I found out that the noodles are a bit too chewy for me but that's how they're supposed to be. For someone who likes udon noodles, I could see that being your go-to. My boyfriend had the 9. Chicken Katsu Curry and said it was delicious. I stole a bite and can confirm. The 29. Miso Soup was a bit bland but it scratches the itch if you're craving it. Definitely recommend trying this place out. We will be back for more.

First time ordering from this place. Ordered pork katsu and chicken katsu curry. Both were good! For the price, the portions were good, miso soup was warm and the Katsus were still crispy when they arrived. Will definitely order again!

Second time ordering from Matsui. The first time experience was great. This time not so much. Ordered 2 items, chicken katsu curry and some chicken katsu that description says it comes with rice, miso soup, cabbage and pickles. None of them came in. Just the katsu. Chicken katsu curry was good.
