Love this place. On every visit from Dallas Tx. to Chicago, I order from this soul food restaurant. The smothered pork chops are to die for. The gravy is so good. 2 big pork chops and you won't be disappointed with the portion.

Turkey parts was literally one really small turkey leg, rice and beans had no flavor and portions were not worth the price.

Food had no flavor. No smoked meat actually no meat in bland greens. Smothered chicken had luter one slither of onion and chicken tasted old. Carmel cake was dry. A waste and not edible.

The food was not good. Catfish had no flavor. Dressing was the soggiest weirdest texture. Greens tasted almost sour. Yams were okay but very sweet. Cornbread had no flavor. Mac and cheese was hard and greasy. spaghetti and banana pudding were good. Would not try again. Very disappointing.
