Take into consideration when they say 5 generous "pieces" of catfish...they really do mean "piece". They do not mean fillets of catfish, small pieces really is what they mean, "nuggets" is what these pieces should be referred to. Do not take the "generous" implication into consideration when ordering. I misunderstood this. I did however receive an overly generous portion of fries. I would guess to make up for the pieces of catfish I had to try and swallow? I should have "understood" when the "generous" dinner was just $8.50. My bad.

I really hate to do negative ratings but I just had to. The cornmeal coating was fine, seasoned well enough. The fish was the worse I've ever had. The texture was almost gelatinous, squishy. Gross. Fish Tails certainly has potential but they are going to have to keep up on quality control, test their products before sending to the customer. The fries were typical, very ok. The hushpuppies were not good. Tasted of nothing but cornmeal. Guys, there are great hushpuppyr ecipes on the web. Check em out.

They hit it out of the park!! The fish, the shrimp, the thick cut Fried green tomatoes, and the bonding balls were soon good. Thank you very much for this awesome meal.

The regular shrimp plate contains 5 small shrimps with 2 small hush puppies loaded with fries. The food taste great but the size of the shrimp is not what I expected.
