59. Szechuan Style Beef (Spicy) - I have been trying different Asian restaurants trying to find what I'm looking for - a good, spicy noodle dish with meat and veggies. Other places I've tried in the area have dishes that are just too sweet without the depth of flavor, or fresh veggies, that I'm looking for. This dish was the best I've had so far! Warning: it is HOT. It seems to have dried chiles (Thai Birdseye maybe?) and that left coarse bits of skin and seeds in the dish, and a little more heat than I prefer (and I LIKE spicy!) I ordered a side of lo mein and mixed with the beef. The beef was tender and flavorful. The veggies were very fresh. The carrots and cabbage seemed to be cut just for my order. I could taste fresh garlic and a hint of something smoky, like bacon. And, the portions are very generous! If this had just a little less chiles, it would be my top favorite asian noodle dish ever.

house noddles were very dry no flavor and very little meat or veggies. Kung pao chicken was not spicy and was mostly veggies. rice was fine but we won't be paying 45 for two meals frome there again. This was the 2nd time we've tried it here and even ordered different items. both times were disappointing

888 Chinese Restaurant is a solid choice for lunch. Their lunch special L2. Eggplant in Garlic Sauce (Spicy) is my go to order with fried rice and wonton soup. I always ask for it to be extra spicy though too. The L27. Hunan Style Jumbo Shrimp (Spicy) is a tasty choice as well. I'd recommend 888 if you're looking for a quick, but satisfying Chinese takeout in the league city area.

The food we ordered was well packaged. House Special Lo Mein was amazing, however the Chicken in Lettuce Wrap was a little salty and the Large Hot & Sour Soup must have been so hot that it melted the plastic because it was very chemically tasting.
