During a trip through Harvard Square, we came across this charming Thai eatery. We were wondering what type of place it could be when we noticed a brilliant blue awning with the name Nine Tastes, and …
Delicious! This is my go-to Thai spot in Cambridge for authentic Thai and quick service. I tried the Thai Original Kra Pow (Holy basil)🌶️🌶️🌶️ tonight and it reminded me of my mom's home cooking. Automatic fave!

Pad Thai (GF)was absolutely tasteless. Bland noodles, dry chicken, no "sauce". Crab Rangoon were weirdly huge and mostly cream cheese- no crab taste and side sauce was barely a tablespoon for so many rangoon. I had to pour it on the pad thai to get any flavor in at least one dish after I threw out the "cream cheese" rangoon. Plus it arrived nearly 30 mins late. Terrible.

We ordered Basil Crispy Chicken 🌶️🌶️ and Lemongrass Tofu & Chickpeas (V). Was super tasty but quantity was a little less for the price. Spice level runs one level lower. But very tasty food overall.

Price is inexpensive and portion is big. Taste is not so great though. The crispy chicken is okay but the pad see iu is very disappointing.

The Moo Ping (Grilled Pork) was good but didn't come with any accompanying sauce. Tom Kha Soup was well-balanced, would order again. The Pumpkin Curry, sauce was okay but I wouldn't order again; the pumpkin was starchy more like potato and there was a lot of it, and not a lot of chicken. The Pineapple Fried Rice was not liked-- the few bits of pineapple were obviously canned and sad. It also came with shrimp and chicken with it unexpectedly-- we didn't see any options for proteins included, so those who don't eat shrimp would be unpleasantly surprised (although the shrimp were cooked very well!).
