An enthusiastic 10 out of 10 every time. Augora Deli is my favorite local eat. The Reuben with turkey pastrami is a winner. I've ordered it dozens of times (in store and via Door Dash) and never been disappointed. The steak fries are prepared exactly the way I like, still a little soft but with a little crunch on the edges. Highly recommend 👍🏻
The staff is also really nice and accommodating, if you ever opt for pick up.

Agoura Delli has become the following, overpriced and inconsistent. We decided that we would order corned beef hash from them yesterday because Deli corned beef should be better than the inexpensive Sports Bar where we usually get corned beef hash. It was horrible. First of all, my son ordered poached eggs and got hard cooked eggs. I ordered over easy basted eggs and got hard cooked fried eggs. the corned beef hash was the consistency of paper pulp they had taken the corned beef and pulverized it there were no potatoes or onions in it and it had a weird sour taste almost like when meat starts to go off. this meal cost us over $45. the Latke that I got on the side was also way too eggy and had a weird consistency. latkes are usually my go-to thing from Agoura Deli because they're always good. not yesterday. to add injury to insult, they forgot the muffins that we ordered to go with our meal. I am really unhappy with them

I ordered the Chinese chicken salad because others said it was good. Mine was terrible. The chicken tasted old and like leather. It was not edible. Easy to tell it was not fresh. The lettuce was partially wilted and there were supposed to be rice noodles in the salad and there were none. Hands down one of the worst salads Ive had and not worth the money spent.

This isnt a salad you want to get to go. Eating it at the restaurant/immediately after being served is a whole other experience. It's actually great in this scenario.
The crux of this dilemma is that the chicken is added warm/hot, then packaged, and it creates a very wet lettuce mix, before the dressing is added. Its almost like a warm salad soup when the dressing does get tossed. If they started chilling the chicken first - this would be a much, much better takeout salad.

The food is good and arrives hot. Special shout out to the rye-bread croutons on their salad. YUM! I appreciate how they plastic-wrap containers so nothing leaks in transit.
