This plate was so authentic. From the moment I opened the plate, the smell took me back to my childhood in Africa. The ingredients were on point and all this to say .... best Thiebou Dienn (Jollof Rice Fish) I have eaten since 2006.

Made the cheap way. Do not use croaker fish when making the authentic Thiebou Dienn. Supposed to use a Snapper or Barracuda. Also, in fairness this would usually be a $30 dish if made the original way so I can understand from a business perspective why take a few shortcuts. Overall not the original Thiebou Dienn (Jollof Rice Fish) but it was good.
