Tried this restaurant for the first time after being recommended by a friend. Wow. Just wow. This place has some of the best Indian food I've had in a long time. We had the chicken tikka masala and Paneer Makhani. It had the most amazing blend of flavors and just the right amount of spice. Cannot recommend this place any more highly.

The Coco Lamb (Lunch) was AMAZING. The lamb was tender, & the sauce DIVINE. The 3 side dishes that came with the Coco Lamb (Lunch) (served with the lunch menu only) were the perfect addition AS WELL AS the STEAMING HOT, FRESHLY PREPARED Naan, made from scratch! AND because they make the best Naan EVER OR ANYWHERE, I never order anything from Akbar without ordering on the side their Garlic Naan. My house always smells amazing when the food arrives & impossible to not eat immediately! 😋

Best Eats in Town! Can't believe this place is back in the area. The chicken tikka is the best ever. The entire staff has always been hospitable, and you can tell the owner is a true chef and avid restauranteur. Highly Recommend!

Best Indian food in the area by far. Lunch portions are very generous, but the food was so good, I overate. We asked for green chutney and they gave about 8 oz of it. Truly awesome!
