Akbar is great they are unique with the spices and sauces that they use. Tikka masala is great with the coconut milk preparation. I also love the daily daal. Out of the indian restaurants you can order from near Venice, Akbar is a top choice for me. Cali Tandoor in Culver City is king for me

You know a place is good when they have been around for over 20 years. I've been coming to Akbar Cuisine of India since 2006, and it’s still as delicious as ever! The food here is consistently amazing, and their Chicken Tikka Masala is the best I’ve had in all of Southern California. Every time I order it, it tastes just as incredible as when I first had it two decades ago — I wish I were joking, but it's genuinely that good. The owner Atul is wonderful and has always made me feel welcome. The service here is consistently top-notch, with a staff that goes above and beyond to ensure a great experience.

We got the Chicken Tikka Masala it was very very good i definitely recommend it. We also got the Butter Chicken it was delicious. The Garlic Nan was amazing and has the perfect amount of garlic. The chicken in both dishes was very flavorful and cooked perfectly!!

Great! We walk past this place a few times now and kept wanting to try it! They prepared the food super fast and the delivery was really quick with DoorDash. The food was warm and flavorful and delicious!
