finally found the best Indian in toledo. having been to London and having the best I knew what to look for. the taste is as close as I've found, the heat is there and the chicken (breast not thigh) was great. albeit the chicken wasnt much - the flavor made up for everything. the onion pakora was as close to an onion bahji as I'll find and it was great too. bit expensive but you get a ton of food - just wish a bit more protein. well done.

We tried the following dishes: Paneer Tikka MasalaChicken VindalooButter ChickenChicken Tikka MasalaChicken Curry. The serving sizes were tiny. They were almost all sauce. The Tikka Masala dishes had 2 slices of pepper in each, though sufficient onion. There was also precious little chicken (or paneer) in any of the dishes. I was also surprised to get white rice instead of a yellow/saffron rice. Further, twice while eating the Vindaloo I chewed into something with the texture and firmness of a toothpick (maybe it was small chicken bone?).
The flavors of the curry were well done and mild spicy was much more true to authentic cuisine than most places. Those used to American cuisine are probably fine (based on our kids asking for a drink because "it's spicy" but easily finishing their plates.

The paneer tikka masala we ordered today was too salty. almost inedible. I had to make a gravy at home with paneer and add it to the one we bought. The Chilli Gobi was so dry and flavorless. The batter it was dipped in was sour. not sure why. Worst is that the mango lassi never came and when I called the dasher, they did not pick up. So I am not even sure what happened to the lassi.
