I grew up on my moms Indian food and when I moved to Philly 7 years ago I started looking for Indian food that was as good. I even started cooking it myself to get close. This place is the best of all the Indian spots I have tried in Philly, the sauces could be a little less watery but that's personal preference, the thing aman does best is having seasoned and not-dry meat which a lot of other places lack. I'm still looking but Amma's is my go to spot right now

If you go in to dine they give decent food (although expensive) but if you order online, they surely mess it up. I have ordered chennai Chicken Biryani and the meat isnt well cooked, food is cold and they have basically mixed gravy with rice and made it unbearable to eat. So much for 26 bucks!!!

took them very late to prepare the food when the dasher was already there. the food quantity was less and only two small chicken/meat pieces in the biryani. the chutney was watered down. we have been there before and hence know this is low quality for this restaurant.

always a pleasure ordering from here, but this time there were only 2 tiny meat portions, rest of it were all vegetarian.

Food tastes authentic, but the recent price hike and smaller portions make it a difficult choice.
