I've been eating Ankars food since I was in elementary school, as a adult I still enjoy them immensely. They never disappoint and have the BEST HOME MADE ONION RINGS around! Nobody's come close !

the food that they actually make is always great. the chicken fingers however, are terrible. whoever they buy them from... they are awful. very little chicken, all batter... I'm talking like NO chicken

The meat on the STEAK SACK tasted like wet food for cats. The meat tasted like it was marinated with Worcestershire sauce, and because the meat was so dry, it gave that cat food like flavor. It was still hot when it arrived.
The CHEESE BURGER was bland overall even with toppings. The meat was very poor quality and bland.
The FRENCH FRIES were really good. Greasy, unsalted fries. It's worth the 2 stars.

the GREEK SALAD was tasty til i got near the bottom of it & then it was watery and the rest of my salad i couldn't eat because the lettuce was way too soggy. the FRIED MUSHROOMS were ok but when i ate a few of them water squirted out of them. this didn't happen last time so, idk what's going on there 🤷 next time i will take pics. i hope this doesn't happen again.

I have heard amazing things about Ankars. The food was OK, the steak sack wasn't exactly what I was expecting but it was OK very filling. The onion rings could have used salt. I wasn't unsatisfied but would probably put my money towards different food in the future.
