I've been ordering delicious Thai from Arani Thai since I moved to Geelong 7.5 yrs ago.
It is always great quality food & very generous serves... best Special Fried Rice in Geelong!

Wow! I absolutely loved the coconut Steamed Coconut Rice, creamy flavour and a hint of sweetness, which made the dish perfect 🤤
First time trying the Tom Kha, beautiful lemongrass flavour throughout.
Highly recommend. Will definitely be back.

I was VERY happy to see a 'Thai hot' spice level for the first time. So I was VERY disappointed that it was no where near a Thai hot level of spicy, and in fact was mildly spicy instead. I would say it wasn't even at an 'Australian hot' level. The food was ok, but I've had far better green curries at other places. The coconut rice was gluggy and thick.
Based on this one meal, I think I'd be safer ordering from other places. However, I realize every place can have a less than stellar night, so I'd be prepared to try again to see if this was a one off ill prepared meal, or a norm. I wish I could write more highly of this experience.
