It was my first time trying 6. Pounded Yam & Egusi Soup. It was so delicious! The pounded yam was almost like mashed potatoes-texture wise. The Egusi soup was very flavorful with a fish flavor. I will definitely be coming back! So yummy!

Today the 6. Pounded Yam & Egusi Soup was the best its been in a long time! I always get mad that I dont take a photo when Im pleased with the meal... but it was too good to stop! Lol the chicken was fried perfectly and I even requested more of the liquid base of the soup so it wouldnt get dry.. and they added it! Perfection. I have a love/hate relationship with this place so Im so happy I tried them again.

African food first timer! Overall the food was fresh and well prepared. While the unique flavors and spices were not for me. I was glad to be able to try it. The jollof had great texture and a nice spicy kick. The chicken had a good roasted flavor. The soup with goat meat was too gamey for my taste. The Fufu reminded me of potato, with a starchy vegetal flavor and wow! the texture was great, soft, bouncy to chew, fun to eat.

Portions used to be larger. Now the bowl is smaller and the meat takes up most of the bowl while theres maybe two scoops of egusi added. Youd probably have to order it separately to get your moneys worth. Soup and fufu are hot but the meat is clearly not. Maybe they add it to the soup and think itll warm up it but thats not right. The food should be warmed if not freshly cooked. Disappointed in this place lately as this is my second order this week and I hoped for the best.
