Locally Owned. Texas Inspired. Wood-Fired BBQ. It all began in 1983 when four friends, inspired by a road trip to Texas, got together in Cupertino and came up with a plan to open a barbecue restaurant…
I ordered the right amount of food today. The brisket was great, the cornbread muffin perfect with the honey butter. I also had a small caesar salad which had the perfect amount of amount of dressing.

a pound of ribs? Maybe precooked and precut weight. These were the shorest bones and almost no meat. One enirre side of the bone was meatless (normal), but the side with the meat was so thin..about 1/8 inch thick. Except the "big" one. That had a layer of fat that was almost half an inch thick, with the thinnest sliver of meat on the outer edge. Altogether, maybe 3 bites of meat. The tots were as expected. This was the most disappointing rib order I've had from this restaurant. Seems they are steadily going down-hill.

First time trying this restaurant. I really enjoyed it the ribs and sausage are perfectly smoked and had great flavor. My only complaint about the ribs is that I think they could have a little bit more dry rub onthem for seasoning. All of the sides tasted great. I didnt like Cornbread Muffin

Ordered because of nostalgia. Prices have gone up and the quality and portions have plummeted. Brisket was dry and the extra quarter of chicken was tiny and also dry. Sad to see you go.

The pulled pork sandwich was very dry, the meat was tough, and didn't come with pickles like they used to. I'm glad I asked for extra on the side when I picked it up. Not worth the almost $20 it ended up costing. Not sure if it's just this Santa Clara location, but the quality has gone way down while the prices skyrocket. This will likely be my last time ordering here, which is a shame because Armadillo Willy's used to be a South Bay/Peninsula staple.
