I was excited to try this place. The Fried Fish Fillet (2pc) fish was the star of the show. Crispy, lightly seasoned and not oily. Plus you get 2 huge pieces. I ordered the salt and pepper fries and they were bland and under done. Everything was on top of some greens, which didn't lend to the flavor. The bread was toasted and buttered well. My only complaint are the fries. I think a salt and pepper ketchup would compliment them nicely.

The strips were very small and extra spicy with red pepper flakes. The fried rice was super spicy as well. No flavor just hot

Still the best Fried Fish Fillet (2pc) ‼️ The shrimp fried rice is my absolute favorite and my reason for ordering. The catfish fillet this time were paper thin 🙄 and not meaty, moist and flakey like previous orders. However, they were cooked and seasoned well. The S&P Wings (3pc) were not appealing and I won't be ordering again. They were 3 times the size of regular wings due to the tempura batter and only seasoned on the outside. I was really disappointed, everything else was good though.

Still best Fried Fish Fillet (2pc) ‼️ This was my first time trying the shrimp fried rice.....it was amazing! Perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. My only issue was with the Red Velvet Cheesecake . It came melted and soupy.

Per usual the S&P Wings (3pc) and Boudin Balls (3pc) were DELICIOUS! They were perfectly cooked and the crispiness was excellent. And I can't forget the shrimp fried rice! Great flavor and just the right amount of spice. Both dishes remind me of home. I'm so glad to have a place like AVO Saltt so close by. I highly recommend giving them a try.
