The owner of this place deserves everything good in life. I paused eating just to write this review. The catfish is crispy and well seasoned, the mac n cheese is fire and the greens and sweet potatoes are incredible.

FIRST TIME TRYING THIS AND I AM HOOKED! EVERYTHING I ORDERED WAS FULL OF FLAVOR AND FRESH! THE PLATE WAS SO PRETTY AND THE GREENS ARE TRULY DELICIOUS!!! THE MAC N CHZ MELTS IN YO MOUTH AND THE SHRIMP IS AN EXPLOSION OF YUMMY FLAVOR! DEFINITELY MY NEW FAVORITE FOOD PLACE!!!! THANK YOU!

No better place than Barnet's! Best Soul food in San Antonio. I recommend the shrimp. He didn't have any gumbo today but on the days they do have it it's amazing. Chicken is cooked to perfection Only delivery place im a regular to.

This is my second time ordering the same meal for my son and I. Excellent. Looks good and tastes good. They give you more than enough. The fish will melt in your mouth. finger licking good.
