Everything here is SO amazing. I've ordered from this location 4 times now, first time through DoorDash, and cannot recommend it more. The bowls are always packed with food and flavor (if you like cilantro and guac, order the chicken verde. For a more savory bowl- the duck is SO good), the hot sauces are phenomenal (and not TOO spicy), the guac is the best guac I've had in Boston, and they are wonderful with food allergies! If you decide to eat there or pick up, everyone who works there is so wonderfully kind too. Just an all around amazing experience at Bartaco.

baja fish tacos had a thick layer of heavy, greasy batter that was dipped in old rancid oil. The fish piece was a third of the size after removing the batter.
The guacamole + chips (not spicy) was a sad ice cream scoop. And they sent tostadas rather than chips. The guac did taste good, I'llgive them that.
The street corn was fine. Nothing special but good.

The lobster ceviche was such a small serving not like the picture at all- plus the container was half way filled. Also, there was only like 2 pieces of lobster, more onion than anything.

bartaco isn't quite there yet, but I think it will get there. Several things were stunning- the chicken soup, the gazpacho, the flavoring on the chicken verde. But the tacos were dry and the rice bowls were fast-foody. I think both could be helped with a dose of thoughtful vegetables. Also lacking were any vegetarian proteins.
