Placed an order for a Pork Rib Plate with Baked Beans and Mac and Cheese. Apparently, they were outof ribs and took it upon themselves to substitute my order with a brisket plate and changed one of the sides from Mac n cheese to potato salad. No one from the restaurant bothered to even call me to see if this would be okay. I was even charged an extra $3.27. I would have never paid for that mediocre plate with such a pitiful amount of brisket at that price. I'm also not a fan of brisket. DoorDash refunded my money but I they have lost a loyal customer. Not to mention the beans were running into the potato salad. Horrible, horrible service. Never again.

The hushpuppies were beautifully fried. Crispy, crunchy outside, tender inside. The issue was that they had very little flavor. I wish they had just been seasoned. The Smoked Chicken Salad Sandwich came with lettuce, tomato, and a very generous portion of chicken salad. It was on two thick pieces of very nice buttered Texas style toast. The issue I had was that the chicken salad had a very sweet flavor, and very little smoked flavor. It was very well seasoned however. The other issue I had was that the chicken was very finely shredded. To the point where it was like a mash, or tuna salad. The Banana Pudding was good, and a very generous portion.

We ordered dinner from here for the first time this evening, and it was delicious! Pulled pork is best for sandwiches. The chicken, ribs, and fried catfish were all wonderful. Okra and Mac and Cheese were close to perfect. Portion sizes were right for the price of the plates, which doesn't happen often anymore. We will definitely order from here again.

Bbq ribs, sausage and smoked chicken were delicious. Cooked well and seasoned well. I would not get the corn on the cob again, it wasn't worth the price especially since it was previously frozen. Potato salad, turnip greens and baked beans were good.

Great food and great prices for the amount of food you receive. I absolutely love the catfish filets with greens and okra..... plus the hush puppies melt in your mouth
