• DoorDash orderI went with the pulled pork, rib tips, and beef rib for today's Q Combo Plate - 3 Meat.
The pulled pork shoulder is in big hunks rather than the stringy almost machaca style some restaurants prefer. This keeps the moisture in and allows for biting the sauce covered chunk as is for sauce balance and a thicker mouthfeel or eating the top and bottom then dipping the middle. Tender and tasty.
The rib tips were fantastically tender and soft, practically falling apart around the fork. Like all rib tips, theres a fair amount of gristle to sift out, but very good. Might just be my favorite from today.
The beef rib was... less amazing. Tender, the sauce a little too sweet for the beef. Good, but not as great as the pork, and the rib itself a little lean. Such are the times we live in.
Beans are great here. Half the reason im a repeat customer.
