Born and raised in Milwaukee, BelAir Cantina is a Wisconsin staple with a tremendous lineup of tacos, mouthwatering margaritas, and more. Chef Noe mixes traditional Mexican cooking with unique flavors…
Their nachos are amazing! I recommend getting a side of the queso because their queso is the best I've ever had. The nachos also taste great with guacamole on the side. The port-queso tacos are also incredible and definitely worth trying!

Ceviche (Gluten-Free) was over priced for the small portion and quality of the ingredients. Tin Can Nachos (Vegetarian / Gluten-Free) very soggy . They seemed to be cooked first and left to sit awhile before the driver picked them up. The Quesabirria and Queso Blanco Fundido (Vegetarian / Gluten-Free) were the best thing we ordered.

I've ordered the Korean Beef Korean Beef Burrito Bowl over a dozen times. Last time it was not very good and I called at spoke to a manager at Bel Aire. Today it was terrible. There was a ton of lettuce and all from the bottom ends that should have been thrown out. There was about a tablespoon of rice and beans, very small amount of beef that was extremely salty, and again, no queso. This dish usually has a meld of flavors and textures. Today it was a bowl of flavorless salty mush with trash lettuce. Will not be ordering this again, I've lost my taste for this dish based on the past couple experiences.
The 3 Tacos on a Plate on a plate. The Texas Brisket was tough an chewy, will not get again. Also, who ever packaged our food put the tacos on their side, not flat in the bag, so everything was mashed together on one side.

The food was not good at all. I've eaten at Bel Air for years and even worked there and I can say the food has really declined. Every item I ordered was missing ingredients and/or had random pieces of other food in it. The brown salsa had a layer of green salsa at the bottom of it like they filled it with half green salsa and half brown salsa. Nothing tasted as it was supposed to and they didn't give me the mexican smores I ordered. I had to call to let them know. The manager said they were out but usually replace with churros. I got nothing. I will not be back. It's too expensive for this kind of quality.

Usually Bel Air is pretty solid, but it seems like they might have changed some recipes - and not for the better. They should probably go back to what made them good to begin with.
Bag of Chips (Vegan / Gluten-Free) are thicker than they used to be - not a big deal but now they slightly overpower the dips.
Whatever change they made to the cheese they use in their Quesadilla (Vegetarian) is no beuno. Terrible by comparison. The Side of Spicy Arbol Salsa (Vegan / Gluten-Free) was good as always, but this was not the delicious tasting meal we were hoping for.
If this is Bel Air's norm at this point, there are other, better Mexican places around.
