First time trying this place... AND I WILL BE BACK OVER AND OVER AGAIN! Oh my lord, the chicken special was ridiculous! most delicious chicken and rice, and perfectly cooked pasta! That virtually never happens. This place is absolutely fantastic!

Order from here weekly. Everything is good! Homemade chicken soup is incredible. Salads are fresh and grilled chicken is very tasty. Pasta bensi is always perfect. Special instructions are followed meticulously and food is packaged neatly and securely. Always arrives hot. Cant say en good about this restaurant.

Yikes. I used to order from this Bensi location multiple times each week for years when I worked over in Hackensack. Tonight we decided to have an order delivered to Cliffside Park. It was terrible. Everything was terrible. The dishes were wrapped in plastic seemingly to prevent spilling of tilted, except the tin platters were all defective and all the sauces and salad dressing leaked from each item. I was left with a countertop covered in oil from the pasta, and dressing from the bland seafood salad, and had no sauce or flavor on either of those dishes. The Seafood Salad was easily the worst I've ever had, and the Bensi Special (Family) was soggy and half stuck to the cardboard box around the edges. Sadly, this location has fallen far from their past greatness, and I will never order from them again. Total waste of $70 in a time when wasting money is noticeably difficult. If you're near Cliffside Park, just order from Big Red Tomato or Pomodoro.

The Linguine with White Clams had no flavor. You could tell they did not saute it in butter and garlic plus they threw fennel seeds in there. The Capellini Pomodoro was also lacking flavor. It could have used more basil, for what they charge and more garlic. Apparently, they don't salt their water before cooking their pasta either. I will pass on this place since NJ has a ton of Italian places.

The Cheese (Family) pizza is mediocre at best. Not horrible but definitely not good. The Meatballs in Tomato Sauce and the Chicken Parmigiana both taste like it's out of a jar. You could have saved the money and made this at home but obviously it's about convenience. This pizza is a little cheaper than most places so you get what you pay for I guess.
