This was my second time ordering the BBQ Chicken Plate. It is so good! Juicy, flavorful and a really good half chicken portion.

As always, the food was good (especially the Chicken and beef Brisket 😋). The only slight disappointment was that one of the sauce containers wasn't secured, causing the sauce to spill throughout the bag!😫 Still, the flavors of the meats, BBQ Baked Beans, Greens & Mac and Cheese remained intact!! Yay!

I dislike brisket. I dislike brisket cuz no one outside of Texas (and one place in Boston that's now closed) knows how to do it properly. So when I get BBQ, no matter which restaurant, I stay away from the brisket. Back ribs and pulled pork are my jam. I don't need dried out beef.
However, I was driving home one day and decided to stop at this tiny hole in the wall. I wanted some ribs for dinner, and a pulled pork sandwich. I walked in, looked at the menu, and ordered some ribs. And I don't know what happened next, my mind went blank. The next thing I know, I ordered the brisket plate too.
Let me shorten this up for you; this joint knows what it's doing. Were the ribs perfectly done? Yes.
But the brisket...the brisket...the brisket.
I also hate blowing up my secret places, but...the brisket...the brisket...the brisket.

Brisket PlateBanana PuddingMac and CheeseCorn Bread (1 Pc) I'm ordering it again. right now. seriously. one small order of mac n cheese is so small but as good as momma makes! and the brisket is as good as everyone says, but two tasty slices wouldn't fill my mouth much less my stomach. cornbread is okay. I only ever want to eat this mac n cheese and brisket the rest of my life. did I say they were momma good?

Lower your expectations dramatcally. The reviews will have you believe this is some of the best BBQ. I was severely underwhelmed. This might've been the most disappointing BBQ experience I've had. The only good thing was the Chicken. I highly recommend that only. The Rib Plate was overseasoned with pepper. The Mac and cheese tastes a level above Kraft. Unnecessary veggies in the baked beans. The greens were underseasoned. The Brisket Plate was dry. Definitely a waste of money.
