Bismillah Restaurant has been a well-known Palostani Restaurant in the Bay Area for the past 15+ years, having been founded by Mr. and Mrs. Azam. They built a brand that has wowed the local community…
it's become a hit and miss restaurant, the last time we ordered Tandoori Wings they were really good, this time we were utterly disappointed

It is better to stop calling it as chicken biryani, just fried rice and 3 small bones, we have to look for meat. Never ordering again

Yummy and competitively priced Mughlai (Indo-Pakistani) food.
Beef nihari, beef/mutton halleem, baigan bharta [along with makhni, shahi and korma salans, kabob and pulaos] are my usual go-tos in the cuisine and they didn't disappoint.
Nihari was rich and with plenty of beef, haleem was a smooth, filling delight of meaty lentil goodness, baigan bhurta was the least impresive as this was a more chunky version with an excessive amount of loose whole spices - cloves, peppercorns and cardamoms - in almost every bite.
Still, a very good experience overall!

I'm extremely disappointed. this is a lie.
I ordered lamb and 2 sides from them. In the end they accepted the order, even though they had no lamb. For $40 I got rice and naan. Then they wrote to me that they would return the money for the lamb, but who would return the money that Doordash took for delivery and commission and tips? It is also calculated from the total cost of the order. If you don't have a main course, JUST DO NOT ACCEPT YOUR ORDER. You are acting like deceivers.
Also naan is garbage, coming crumpled and cold
