I'm honestly surprised about why this restaurant has such good reviews. This is the 2nd time I've ordered from here, wanting to give it another chance. This time, we got the BLANQUETTE, which was disappointing after all the rave reviews . The pork was not tender, and the cream sauce was just that - cream. It lacked any depth of flavor. We also got the coq au vin, and I agree with some of the yelp reviews. It too lacked any depth of flavor (other than sweet which is strange for this dish). The meat was also dry. The half roasted chicken was the only dish with flavor (in the skin), but the chicken itself was super dry. I will not be ordering from here again. There are way too many other good French restaurants in DC to make that mistake again.
