First time getting Bob evens and was surprised for about the same price of a hamburger, fries, and soda at a fast food place I got a country fried steak w/gravy, homemade mashed potatoes w/ MORE gravy, green beans w/ ham bits, 2 buttermilk biscuits, a soda, a salad AND a really generous piece of peanut butter and chocolate pie. I am sure to order more you have great food and prices are pretty generous for all you actually get.

The food itself was good. The coffee was terrible and tasted burnt. They also sent no cream or sugar, no butter for the banana bread, no utensils or napkins, and the oatmeal was so expensive for how very little the portion was.

Every single thing on my order seemed like i was being proportioned in a hunger camp. Baby pancakes were as thin as crepes and as big around as a baseball. My eggs were cooked completely wrong. You had 2 bites maybe of scrambled eggs for a serving and 3 bites of potatoes . It seemed like 2 orders of potatoes was a half potato. Very dissapointed considering I ordered this for mother's day breakfast.

Country-Fried Steak Platter was very good except we ordered green beans and got mashed potatoes. The broccoli was good. Portion size was good. The Fork-Tender Pot Roast was disappointing. It's usually very good. This time it tasted like they spilled the salt box in it. Way too salty. Not enough gravy to cover the mashed potatoes and none on the tiny portion of meat. The portion size has shrunk considerably since the last time I ordered and the price has gone up. Will not order again unless in the restaurant where I can send back and reorder. Biscuits are very tasty.  I take off 2 stars for the salty entree and the small portion size for the cost.

The blueberry hotcakes were delicious and perfectly cooked. The portion size of the home fries was too small for the price but they were tasty.
