Bonfire Indian Grill, located in the center of North Waltham, delivers traditional Indian cuisine that highlights the subcontinent's robust and vivid tastes using responsibly sourced products. Bonfire…
Probably my favorite Indian restaurant in Massachusetts. Favorite dishes are the paneer biryani (it's hard to find really good biryani in Greater Boston, and Bonfire is leaps and bounds beyond any place I've tried in Boston/Cambridge/Somerville), paneer tikka masala, the ghobi 65, lunch thali... every dish I've had has been good. Excellent friendly service when eating in the restaurant too.

The veggie samosas are really good but super spicy, which I did not expect.
Chicken Tikka is good but portion is slightly smaller than other places.
Not super enthusiastic about the rice coming in a foam cup, since foam isn't good for you.
Otherwise, satisfied the Indian food cravings. :)

The better Indian food in the Boston area. People complain about turmeric and spices, that's how we cook Indian food at least south indian. Veg Samosa (2 Pcs) is the top dish from this restaurant. Biryani is as authentic as possible in the Mass area.

Ordered the Hyderabadi Chicken Biriyani and Hyderabadi Mutton Biriyani and was SO impressed! The mutton biriyani had great pieces of meat with minimal bones (often times it's the opposite case) and the chicken biriyani had great flavor. They also had generous portions that made for delicious leftovers.

wasnt a fan the first time but figured id try again. the butter chicken was too sweet and my chicken shahi korma was too salty. garlic naan felt too tough, almost like it was frozen. just the flavors did not taste right. by far the worst indian food ive had to date.
