Everything is delicious and consistently good here! The BLT and chopped Chopped Salad were awesome. The drip Coffee was strong. Their soups are great whether it's the tomato soup or the daily special. We love this place. Especially the quiche. They even have quality Napkins and Utensils.

I order a few baguettes once a month, cut them into sandwich size and freze them. It makes my heart smile with each crispy, airy bite. There is absolutely nothing like a marvelous bread with a sandwich. There is no bread comparable in any store in San Diego.

I absolutely love this place!! This was my favorite to-go shop/restaurant for light meals and bread and pastry selections from 1997 when I moved to Hillcrest. Thereafter, I moved downtown and to La Mesa. I couldn't be happier when I saw it listed in Doordash. Its baguettes and other breads are scrumptious, tasty, and flavorful, true to their namesake and description. Its combinations and sandwiches are great, too! I usually order its epis, baguettes, and loaves and stash them in my freezer. And I replenish as often as possible. It is the best bakery in the mid - and southern regions of SD. I highly recommend it!

Best quiche in town, order early before they sell out. Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup is a great combo. the soup is creamy, not too tomato-y and the grilled cheese is salty and crunchy. I appreciate that they sent napkins.

Although the Banana Pecan Loaf Slice was a generous portion, the cake itself was underbaked and gummy. It was double wrapped in plastic, which added to the sogginess and probably wrapped too soon after it came from the oven.
