I have eaten a few different cakes from Buddy V's NJ bakery from Carlo's Bakery as seen on the Cake Boss on TV. Was surprised and excited to see it could be delivered! I have had the fudge cake which is excellent as well as the confetti cake, rainbow sprinkle cake the fudge rainbow cake. They are all great. I ordered the Red Velvet w this order. The cake is really moist as are his other cakes. The cream cheese frosting was a little too tangy for me. It isn't supposed as sweet as buttercream but it is a little too tangy compared to other red velvet cakes I have eaten. The cake was good though and if red velvet is your favorite cake I'm sure you would like it.

The cake was frozen ahead by of time, not fresh. Icing was very heavy and seemed imitation. Certainly not buttercream fresh. It's in a plastic container which is on like a gas station sandwich. Not $10 a slice worthy. Also I ordered two pieces to hold off on fees and they sent the wrong one. Better to pay fees than to pay more for the wrong thing.

I order cake from Carlo's Bakery directly, on Goldbelly and Door Dash from TGIF. They are always fresh and great. This cake was old. The icing had peeled off of the cake, it tasted sour and gritty. The cake crumbled it was so dry. It had the taste of and smell of other things in the refrigerator possibly like butter will do. I wouldn't recommend wasting $10 for a slice of cake to throw it in the trash. I think Buddy would be embarrassed his products are being sold well after they should. There is no sell by date on the packaging.

Ordered a black and white cake and got a birthday cake instead. I would have liked to choose my own alternative if they were out and needed a replacement. But Nobody contacted me or acknowledged that. I didn't like the birthday cake at all. Waste of $10 for a slice of cake I didn't even eat.

Wrong cake delivered. And also both slices were very stale and dry. We had two bites to give it a chance but just ended up throwing it all out
