Cold, Bland, and wrapped in plastic. Apparently these are made in New Jersey and shipped out to vending machines across the country. I bought the rainbow one for my brother to celebrate Pride, next time I'll just get some food coloring and bake one myself.

The cakes arrived promptly, but unfortunately I did not receive the black and white cake like I ordered. Instead I got a confetti, which is fine but not what I wanted. And my wife's chocolate fudge cake had an extremely dirty packaging with what appeared to be some kind of substance which made it crusty.
