Slices were cold from refrigerator, let them warm up on counter. Otherwise well.

The cake slices are pretty and plentiful but the taste is nothing special. I purchased a six piece sampler during a sale to see what all the hype was about. That's just what I found, hype. You are paying for the name. I don't regret the purchase but I will not purchase from Carlo's Bakery again, overpriced and overrated.

Both slices of Confetti , we could taste the baking soda, icing had an icebox taste, clumpy and the normal freshness wasn't there. I hope I'm wrong but over time it seems the quality has changed, gone down. Maybe it was just a bad batch. The expectations were set high when they first opened and we became customers ordering for every occasion and thr slices were on point. Time to backoff ordering for awhile.
