Struggled to find a place that sold seafood that delivered; this seemed to be the only place at 10.30pm at night that could sell a ‘seafood platter.’
Though at the time of ordering; there was actually no description of what exactly this ‘seafood platter’ for $19.99 contained or how many it would feed. No photos; no description; couldn’t even select ‘battered’ ‘crumbed’ or ‘grilled’ nor could we select any sauces or lemon or extra lemon.. not even sure of the size of the ‘platter’ nor if salad was even included; so we decided to order one each… because if one wasn’t enough for the both of us, we would have had to order another one and have to wait another hour for another descriptionless ‘seafood platter’ so we ordered 2 ‘seafood platters’ totalling nearly $45 with not knowing what it contains or having any choices.. you would hope and expect a ‘wow factor’ being the poorly described option less meal.
Definitely by from the ‘wow factor’ for a fish and chip shop everything is straight out of a box and straight into a fryer of dirty oil that you can taste… a piece of fish that’s not even battered on-site; it’s like Birds Eye lightly battered fish straight from coles! No lemon; no salad, one squeeze sauce and one tartare… dry hard chips to top it off… the size is just as disappointing
For the name ‘Burgers & Fish n Chips express’ it’s by far ‘express’ - an hour for fish and seafood straight from a box; I wouldn’t call this a fish n chip shop
