After several years as the owner of a neighborhood video store, I needed a career shift in 1999. I knew it was only a matter of time until I was forced to close because of the proliferation of big box…
The Mexican Salad is a full meal. It is very good, especially with the lime dressing. I would definitely recommend it.

My interactions with Mexican food was limited to Taco Bell, Del Taco and a trip to Mexico some 50+ yrs ago. Oh yeah! a Beatles burrito or 2. This was an attempt to update my gastronomic pallet. Beautiful Chimichanga. Otherwise the meal was Bleh! Yes. Bland
Tasteless. There was a lot of meat but it was tasteless. As in no seasoning at all. So I am quite done with this version of Mexican food. Pinto beans and rice should at least have some identifiable flavor. Sorry folks, it must be me since there are so many who swear by Mexican food.

Pros: good food when dining in, excellent dressing (the santa fe is to die for), and a nice versatile place for brunch, casual grubs, and even date night.
Cons: cost for product. delivery quality- it's awful. I assumed the last time was just a one off, so I didn't write a review. Two out of two deliveries being awful, when in-person never is, isn't a one-off.
If you're ordering delivery, stick with the authentic folks. Even El Paso has higher quality delivery, and that says a lot...
I do not recommend ordering the Flautas con Queso for delivery under any circumstances. I go here often and love the dish, but ordering via doordash... the restaurant really showed they don't care if they don't risk hearing their diners opinion. The flautas were burnt to a complete crisp- not the light fluffy flaky perfect crisp flautas should be (and are incredibly easy to make so), but crispy in the "take a little bite and the entire thing falls apart in hard brittle chunks, other than the burned meat clinging together" way. Not to mention the dish is entirely different than dining in person. It's normally a delicious treat well stuffed and garnished (the yummy kind, not wasted cilantro kind). Delivery is just 3 small bites worth of edible tortilla and chicken- maybe $2 worth with a restaurant markup? Not $13.
Definitely recommend them for dining in person still, however. Entirely different experience.
2 stars because they followed sauce instructions and a lot of places don't. The cost of santa fe sauce is efficient, the cost of sour cream isn't. $2 for a large spoon of it... when an 8 oz tub is $1.69...

The Flan was thick and rich. You didn't need much to satisfy anyone's sweet tooth. There was enough of it for two, four, or maybe even eight people to top of a wonderful meal with just the right touch of sweetness.
We did not get the Key Lime Pie instead we received the Wedding cake. It was very good. But I wound up eating it, because my husband wouldn't even try it. He was very disappointed that he didn't get his Key Lime Pie.
