Everything was delicious. The ATLANTIC SALMON was perfectly cooked. The BATTERED FISH TACO was crunchy. The Buy One Get One deal was confusing and I was missing two Tacos but the Resolution center was quick and easy!

the BRANZINO (SEA BASS) was excellent, but i paid a $3 upcharge for asparagus and received 3 stalks, which were very woody. $1/stalk of bad asparagus is ridiculous

First time trying it. I always see it on my suggestions so decided to give it a shot. I was not disappointed at all! The food was very good the ATLANTIC SALMON was seasoned super well. Wish I had more vegetables. The battered KIDS BATTERED FISH was super crispy! I was kinda skeptical at first so I got the kids portion size to try it out since most places will always make battered fish super soggy, greasy and un pleasant to eat in my experience. This was surprisingly crispy, fresh and well seasoned! Would recommend this place to others if your a fan of seafood.

While the food still tasted good, I am extremely disappointed with the portion sizes, especially since there are fees to upgrade various side orders. I upgraded to asparagus as a side with the fish and chips and paid $3.59 for three spears of asparagus! That means I paid almost $1.20 per spear, which is ridiculous! I also upgraded to roasted brussel sprouts and street corn for my shrimp trio order, and I got about 10 halves of brussel sprouts and a small serving of corn. This means I paid an extra $6.18 for about 5 whole brussel sprouts ($3.09) and a small serving of corn (another $3.09). I also ordered half butter & garlic and half Cajun sauce for my shrimp, and I didn't receive the butter and garlic sauce. I added a Cesar salad to the order, and paid extra for that too, and the container was only about 1/3 full of lettuce. Finally, I paid $9 for a full side order of Parmesan string beans and the container was only about halfway full. I think the only item I would order again is the fish and chips because the fish portions were good and they definitely packed on the chips (fries), but I wouldn't upgrade the side orders. I am very disappointed with your new portion sizes California Fish Grill. Again, the food tasted good, but upgrades and their respective portion sizes were definitely not worth the price!
