The original veal and other sandwiches from the original California Sandwiches location cannot be beat. I have been eating these sandwiches for over 30 years now and they never ever disappoint. Every sandwich on the menu is fantastic in its own right. My favourite is extra spicy veal with light sauce, mushrooms, onions and provolone cheese, beautiful every time!

The veal itself was good (the bit that I ate) but the bun was so soggy that I couldn't eat the sandwich (even though I had selected 'easy on the sauce'). What a pity. If not for that, I definitely would have given 5 stars!!

Most delicious sandwich. Made to perfection. I was super famished and just half filled me up so for sure great value for what you get! I loved it! I will order it again! Thank you California Sandwiches you are the best!!!!!

I haven't had California for a while and worried inflation would mess with the portion. Nope!! This fat guy is full and it was as good as I remember. Still crispy even after delivery.
