Hadn't been to a Captain D's restaurant since before the pandemic. Decided to treat myself to delivery. 1 piece of fish was missing. Shrimp and hush puppies looked and tasted as though they were removed from the fryer prematurely. The chicken tenders were half the size of what I remembered (see the menu pic). The batter was different, and they also appeared to have been removed from the fryer too soon. Only the corn and the sole piece of fish I received were good. Disappointed.

The Supreme Sampler Meal was delicious. Fish, Chicken and Shrimp were cooked perfectly. Hush Puppies were great! Coleslaw was good. The Green beans were awesome. The mozzarella sticks were a little tough & the Cinnamon sticks were hard.
This was my birthday present to myself.
I would love to have another one !!!!

Shrimp and fish was tough as if it was old no condiments and value of the food was awful $32 and I Capua pieces of fish that look like fish sticks! Platter Was 16.84 with two extra piece of fish that I ordered and I got the steaks Way to go Captain D's string beans taste like they was fresh out the can hats off to whoever made the tea that was the best thing!

Im here @ comfort suites visiting my son @ Richmond U and was craving a fresh fish & chip. Not knowing this area I was rolling the dice. Lucky Roll ! The fish was delish. The only thing is I'd did not see was an area to purchase more condiments which would of been extra...but thats ok.
The food was real good and reasonable Yea ... Esp at that price. I looked at red lobster which idk if its fresh there but i did note it was much more $$$. Ill def order next time im visiting Richmond U!!!
