First time ordering from Captain Jay's, and they did not disappoint. Everything came hot and fresh (I live in Rochester Hills, considering the distance... it came hot!!) The chicken was crispy outside, juicy inside. I think I found my new go too for fried chicken, and now I know where to go for the best catfish. Only downfall... I should have ordered more mac and cheese.. it was delicious 😋

For the price point I was definitely surprised by how good the food was. The 4 pc Catfish Fillet was tasty and the hot sauce was really good, too. The 2 pc Perch Fillet was very mild and not fishy tasting at all. The Special 8pc Leg & Thigh chicken was pretty good and their seasonings were perfect and not overly salty. overall I'm very satisfied with my order and the price. it's not the best fish and chicken I've ever had in my life....but its FARRRR from the worst. 7.5 outta 10 which is GREAT for the value. Oh...and everything was hot and fresh and fully-cooked as well. Great job guys! Portion sizes were very big too. Would definitely order again!

This was first having food from this particular location! Everything is cooked well. I'll just get light lemon pepper next time....lol
10 Wings cooked crispy Like I love it!!
4 pc Catfish Fillet cooked well. Not greasy.
Medium French Fries was fried a little too hard and were cold.

The chicken wings are so small! The Roseville locations wings were never this small. So unsure why a different location is using baby chickens or something. Chicken Wings (4 pcs) and Catfish (2 pcs) Combo is delicious but the wings are just so small it's pointless to even sell them. Large Okra was great per usual.

They never have coleslaw , NEVER!!! They skimp on the fries and calling the store when half your order is missing they hand you excuse after excuse, blame your Dasher to the point you have to contact Doordash.
The Cod is good but not worth the $$ when they can't fulfill your order. I've given this store a 2nd try and got the same results as the first time. Extremely poor service.
