the Avocado Salad is HUGE, they don't use hass avocados though. the Stewed chicken was very good, tastes an awful lot like the baked chicken but it was super juicy and tender fall off the bone, I always get it with Yuca and congri. Give this place a try you won't be sorry and you get so much food there's plenty for leftovers. you really get a good bang for your buck here.

Oxtail was flavored well, but it was 70% fat and 30% meat; most fat I've ever seen and I'm a regular oxtail eater. Very pricey for mostly fat that I had to end up throwing away. And the chicken soup was overly salty.

Prenup came with beautiful huge piece of crispy skin and mound of tender meat. Oxtails we're great. Potato salad and the orange rice (not sure of name but not traditional yellow rice) we're also incredible. This place always hits the spot.

We are visiting Tampa from out of state and wanted some authentic Cuban food. We got it with this restaurant! Everything was fresh, hot, and so tasty. GREAT value for what we paid. We made two meals out of what we got there was so much food. Will definitely return when we come back to Tampa.

it was ok. I probably wouldn't order again though. Portions were good. However, the Chicken Croquetas (4) were soggy and greasy as well as the Beef empanada was dry & definitely needed something to dip in. The Picadillo was "dry" as well. I'm accustomed to other places being just a bit more savory and moist as to enjoy with the rice. Also I ordered the Stewed Chicken assuming there would be some "stew" over the rice. That's why I didn't go with the baked chicken - but this is essentially what it was. The chicken itself was tender, but just bland and its sitting on top of a bed of rice that could have used some of the gravy from a "stewed" dish. On the plus side, the food seemed fresh. But, it just wasn't satisfying - we didn't eat more than a few bites and decided to order elsewhere.
