I used to work fir Carl's Jr in 1978. The food way back then, is still great today! The only thing I wish they would bring back, is the crinkle cut French fries, that were made by a machine.
Water, potato powder, made like a Play Dough mixture, machine squeezez mixture through holes, a swinging slicer slices the strips eight inches long, the strips fall into fry basket, you put basket into cooking oil.
Fries had a taste no other fry has had since!
