Intriguing difference in flavor using banana leaf rather than corn husk (my previous experience with tamales) for wrapping. Perfectly heated, masa neither mushy nor too dry.

ordered squash and cheese Pupusa de Queso y Calabaza / Cheese and Squash , got plain cheese , fried plantains were cold and greasy. not as pleasing as tostones as I had hoped
