This place is amazing... but watch out for the side order of cream... it's $500!!! But definitely recommend... it's so freaking yummy!

I ordered both the Japanese and the chocolate and I am very disappointed. The Japanese was a tiny cake maybe for 2 people and it was just ok. The chocolate one, and it was not good at all.

Just came back from Japan. Craving for castella. The Original is not the castella from Nagasaki. Far from it. It is a sponge cake, more Taiwanese Style. You can get a similar recipe tasting/texture one at 85 degrees for at most $4. For $12, I expected more. The Cheesecake was better but I will not order again since way overpriced, $15, at least for me.
