The chicken is good, seasoned well and fried with perfection. The waffle was filling and the hint of cinnamon was flavorful.

Food was bomb I got fries instead of hashbrowns guessing they ran out but it was still fire waffles are big and have a lil hint of cinnamon

There was abolutely nothing special about the namesake specialty! However I knew this when I looked at my potaoes...in fact I knew this when I couldnt determine if my side of "potatoes and gravy" were mashed, smothered or a dish exclusive to this establishment .
The chicken was a liitle salty and the oil needed to be changed. I wont go hard on the yard bird cuz u cant really mess it up-might suggest adding hot sauce packets
The mashed potatoes were clearly from the free food line.... mixed with water.... my advice would be to jazz them up if you're not going to use real potatoes... butter, broth and black pepper goes a long way
The gravy on the potatoes looked like the oil pan from granddaddy's car that has sat in the driveway so long cats and mice visit on cold nights!
And the drink was missing...
We gotta do better beloved!

I'm going to try this again some other time because the chicken was over-cooked (breast + 2 legs). I couldn't eat the breast as it was too dry. The greens were good and hot but the rest of the meal was cool. I ordered & paid for a banana pudding, but it wasn't in the bag. I love the fact that sauces were included plus utensils, napkins, and even a wet wipe (oh the memories).

It was delicious ilove the rice and gravy chicken is crispy and yummy but the packing wasnt good and my Mac and cheese was spilled everywhere all over the other boxes of food and I was scared to eat it because it looked like it might have been put back in by hand ...
