Chico Bistro delivers a delightful dining experience, meriting a solid 4-star rating for its delectable dishes. The Mongolian beef, with its tantalizing hint of spice, was a standout, masterfully balancing flavor and heat. The honey walnut prawns were another highlight, offering a perfect mix of sweetness and texture that left a lasting impression.
However, the dining experience had a minor shortfall. For a $20 entree, one might reasonably expect an accompaniment like steamed rice to be included, but this wasn't the case. While the absence of a side dish was notable, the quality and flavor of the main dishes themselves were so remarkable that they nearly made up for this oversight. The food at Chico Bistro shines on its own, making the restaurant a worthy destination for those seeking a memorable meal, even if it means adjusting expectations regarding what's included with your entree.

The Stir Fried Seasonal Vegetables - 时令季节菜 was 95% broccoli, 5% carrot, i didn't expect jut one veggie. I would never ever order just broccoli, this went partly to waste and made me sad.There was no stir-fry glaze or sauce, the juices were mostly clear and there wasn't too much oil. The broccoli was not soggy or undercooked. Objectively wholesome, but not what I was after.
The Stir fry Chow Mein Noodles with Chicken 鸡肉炒面 was good, (it could have used a tad more strong flavor, but I do love strong flavors.) the onions in it were cooked just right, and the chicken, too. No bean sprouts, which I appreciate SO much!

General Tso’s Chicken - 左宗棠鸡 buy one get one was an ok deal, smaller portions than I would like and a lack of white rice as a menu option is the only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars. crispy and very tasty entree though!

The dumplings were delicious! The Vegan Plant Based Pork Soup Dumplings (6) 新膳肉全素小笼包 were so yummy, and I had to keep reminding myself that they were vegan! The Vegetable Wontons in Szechuan Chili Oil 红油鲜蔬抄手 were my favorite because the chili oil was sooo good. I definitely recommend both

The BEST Chicken and Egg Fried Rice - 鸡丁蛋炒饭 ive ever had. Fresh, big portioned, and perfectly seasoned. Every else was absolutely delicious!
