**Review of Boneless Spare Ribs** Recently, I had the opportunity to try the boneless spare ribs at China Express, and while the dish had promise, it ultimately fell short of my expectations. Upon arrival, the presentation was appealing, with the ribs glistening under a savory glaze that hinted at a rich flavor profile. However, as I took my first bite, I noticed that the meat was a bit drier than I prefer. While I appreciate the effort to achieve tenderness, the lack of moisture detracted from the overall experience. The seasoning was well-balanced, offering a pleasant sweetness that complemented the savory elements. The texture, though slightly dry, was still enjoyable, with a satisfying chew. I found myself wishing for a sauce or accompaniment that could enhance the moisture and elevate the dish further—perhaps a tangy barbecue or a rich, flavorful glaze. In terms of portion size, the serving was generous, making it a good value for those looking to indulge in a hearty meal. Additionally, the side dishes provided were flavorful and complemented the ribs nicely, adding variety to the plate. Overall, while the boneless spare ribs at China Express showed potential with their flavor and presentation, the dryness was a notable drawback. I would recommend the dish with a caveat, encouraging the kitchen to consider tweaking the cooking method or enhancing the sauce to achieve a more succulent result. I look forward to returning to see if there have been improvements in the preparation of this dish. **Review of Wonton Soup and General Tso’s Chicken** Now..I had the pleasure of sampling both the wonton soup and General Tso’s chicken, and I must say, both dishes left a positive impression. **Wonton Soup:** The wonton soup was a delightful start to my meal. The broth was rich and flavorful, perfectly seasoned with a hint of umami that set the tone for the dish. The wontons themselves were expertly crafted, boasting a delicate wrapper that held a generous filling of pork and shrimp. Each bite was tender and juicy, providing a satisfying contrast to the warm, comforting broth. The addition of fresh scallions and bok choy added a nice touch, contributing both flavor and texture. Overall, this was a standout dish that exemplified the comforting qualities of traditional wonton soup. **General Tso’s Chicken:** Moving on to the General Tso’s chicken, I was equally impressed. The chicken was crispy on the outside (could have been more in my opinion) while remaining tender and succulent on the inside, showcasing skillful frying techniques. The sauce was a perfect balance of sweet and spicy, with a delightful depth of flavor that enhanced the dish without overwhelming it. The generous coating of sauce enveloped the chicken, and the accompanying vegetables added a refreshing crunch. The portion size was ample, making it a satisfying entrée that paired well with steamed rice. Both dishes reflected a commitment to quality and flavor, showcasing the restaurant’s ability to deliver classic Chinese cuisine with finesse. The wonton soup offered a comforting start, while the General Tso’s chicken provided a satisfying and flavorful main course. In conclusion, China Express successfully delivered a delightful dining experience with these two dishes. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking authentic flavors and comforting comfort food. I look forward to returning and exploring more of their menu offerings. Thank you for the suggestions.

You know a place isn't going to be good when you ask for extra soy sauce and they say "it's in the bag" the food was subpar. I should have stuck with kings but they were closed. The wontons are absolutely disgusting and burnt

Normal chinese take out place, not bad but not great. The crab 14. Crab Rangoon (8 Pcs) was really bad, some of the worst I've had unfortunately. C20. General Tso's Chicken was normal.

The dumplings were extremely doughy. The meat was very bland. The fried wonton had a nice texture, but were also very bland The pork fried rice was undercooked and bland. The pork lo mein was decent. The boneless ribs were decent, but had a weird tang to them. The prices were middle of the road. I'm unlikely going to ever order from here again, as there are better choices with lower price points in the area, but their food is edible
