This is some of the best Chinese food ive had, every ingredient tastes incredibly fresh. Chicken is perfect, fried rice is just delightful, and the rangoons had a great flavor. They steamed themselves a bit in the to go container but still had a nice crunch to them.

we had a good size order and everything was delicious . China star has remained consistant with the quality, portions and taste of their food over the years. also best chicken noodle soup in town broth is very flavorful and fragrant. it really is like homemade soup. I buy it on cold days and when I'm feeling a little ill.

As always, great food, hot and well packed. One thing, last two orders smaller portions of entrees and appetizers, tiny cup of sauce for dumplings vs prior generous amount. I do not complain about cost in general, we buy what we want and it cost what it cost but heads up on size change OR offer small & large.

I can't help but wonder if they've changed owners recently because the fried rice is totally different now (used to be yellow)...but it's very tasty so I still recommend it. Most importantly, they still make THE BEST egg rolls in town!

We order through Doordash and China Star never fails us! Food is always hot and wonderfully delicious. We've never had anything that wasn't great. One of the best places for Chinese food in Springfield! Fried rice a go to and the Shrimp & scallops is scrumptious. Highly recommended!
