The food is always amazing! 6 out of 5 stars for the bag of chips and the side of jalapeño ranch! 10 out of 10 would order again!!

Steak had good flavor bu was dry and tough. The tortilla was also pretty tough. Beans and rice were great and loved the big bag of chips sent with order. I will try a cheaper burrito next time

We've been to several different Chuey's locations in Austin and the Waco location and they have been very consistent with their quality. However , I was sadly disappointed with our order from this new location. It might be because it's new and crowded, but the food was not up to par with every other Chuey's location we've been to. The food was basically cold and the driver was somewhat confused about if she was at the right address. Our address is right by the doorbell and the porch lights were on.
The best thing we ordered were the chips and their signature creamy jalapeño sauce. The Panchos were soggy by the time we got the order and the beef fajita on the Tacos El Carbon was tough with just a few thin strands of onion and peppers. It was nothing close to what we expected from this restaurant. The Chicken Flauta's were also very good, but still not as hot as they should have been. The cheese sauce for these was the size of about half of a shot glass. I'm hoping that this was more related to the time it took to get the order and not how it will be when we decide to actually eat it in the restaurant. I would highly recommend that anyone ordering from this restaurant pay for the fast dash and that might help with the food being delivered in more of what we have expected from our favorite Mexican restaurant. The price of our order was very expensive on top of the delivery fee and tip for the delivery driver. My experience with these chain restaurants deciding to build locations locally has been very disappointing. Several other restaurant chains that have opened here are not as good as the other locations and we had high hopes that Chuey's would be a different experience. I hope that the cold food and smaller portions is attributed to the fact that takeout is not as good as eating at the restaurant. But for the price of the meal, it should have been a lot better than it was when we finally received our delivery. I know from experience that this kind of food doesn't always travel well, but I think the portions as well as the prices will have to be better than what we paid for what we received.

Sweet tea wasn't sweetened, at all, it even had "Sweet Tea" written on the lid so idk how that was wrong.
The Server tried to hand us our to-go order without our other drink that was clearly on the ticket.
The tortillas for our Custom Enchiladas were like rubber.
We will be sticking to Mas Fajitas.
