taste's phenomenal. though I personally prefer the brisket in it to not be such big chunks myself, last time I ordered it the brisket was more shredded and I loved it. just a personal taste really, otherwise, it is still the best chili I've ever had.

Very tiny meat proportions, the tupperware they used has enough room to fit double the meat given. Everything tastes good but for $20+ I expected to get more food for my buck.

As a truck driver who loves BBQ, I get to try it from restaurants all over the USA. City BBQ is pretty darn good! I look forward to ordering again when I'm laid over in Findlay. I was really hungry, and my Keto go-to is brisket and ribs. It came really fast by a Dasher (utensils included). I appreciate that. On my dietary plan, some fat is good, so I ordered extra "bark"... or a wet / untrimmed fat, in other words.
The brisket was on the lean side, a bit more constructed than I prefer, and the seasoning on "the bark" was hearty but over salty as though a little less of that and a longer baste/rest... I think the flavors would have had more time to seep in, and the meat broke down a skosh more toward perfection. Don't misunderstand me. It was GOOD!
There was a prepackaged sweet sauce and a hand poured version of the same, in the bag, that was sweet but not too sweet and smokey. I like a smokey sweet BBQ sauce, and I discovered the hand portioned was a bit more smokey than the other, which dazzled my pallet and added more wet texture to the good but firm-ish brisket. Both brisket and ribs were picture perfect, and I liked the hearty seasoning. The rib rub is a step up from the traditional, not hot, nor unusual, but something extra special about it.
The ribs were also really good. The best cutlet (the big end) was cooked to the point just before falling off the bone. I wished every bone was so, and the little end was chewiest. Again, I wanted to have that 'easy to chew flavor drenched bite', but it was a bit elusive as the other bones were GOOD! But I was more involved chewing, and I really wanted that great flavor to be seeped into the entire bite... again and again.
All in all, I'm pleased with my dinner choice. I would do it again, and I'm really looking forward to the leftovers. 10-4 and out.

I really wanted to like this, but I couldn't. Trying to justify the price was overall the hardest thing. For the brisket upcharge.
The mac and cheese noodles were over cooked, the cheese sauce seemed like there wasn't even salt in it. There was absolutely no collision of anything remotely tasteful.
The only thing I would say was worth the purchase of this meal was the buns and fries. The fries were lukewarm, but had good amounts of seasoning. And the buns were just buns.
The meat amount was not worth the upcharge, I know brisket is high price but to get a few slices in a container with chunks of fat on the bottom doesn't substitute as enough serving for "two adults, and two kids."

Turkey and green beans only decent part of meal and that's being kind. Ribs were small and lacked flavor, shredded chicken was average at best. Mac and cheese lacked flavor. Pretty disappointing for a regularly decent place
