City Tacos is my day off treat and it always hits the spot. Highlights are the Baja mahi mahi taco and portobello taco, but you really can't go wrong. Food always arrives warm, packaged well and with care. I love that I can order several things without breaking the bank. 10/10 would definitely wear an I Heart City Tacos shirt.

So I never do reviews because i dont really care to waste time writing my opinion on food when people don't really read reviews(personal experience). But for those that do, I want everyone to know that these tacos are the best I have ever had in san diego. I ate the SURF & TURF, PESCADO, and the COCHINITA PIBIL. They were absolutely amazing.
The meat from the SURF & TURF was amazing(I ate it with no cheese). You can really taste the meat as the seasing doesnt over power it, and the char deeping its taste. Their were 2 big pieces of shrimp on said taco and with the acidity from the salsa/pico on taco were amazing
The PESCADO taco was by far the most surprising of the bunch. I was very wartly of STRAWBERRIES on a taco and a fish taco at that. BUT the sweetness add to crunchy savory taste of the fish with its crsut. The habanero goes great with the strawberry because it also is sweet and added that kick fish tacos need. the cabbage and onion mixed well with everything and the aioli cream brought the smokey flavor
Last but not least was the COCHINITA PIBIL taco. The pork and mayan achiote sauce was strong and really had a strong earthy and smokey taste. But the onion, cilantro and serrano salsa really added that acidity and sweetness. Its a simple taco but strong taste.
AGAIN I have never left a review but because I believe the taste from these taco deserve others to try them I am leaving one and a detailed one at that.(I should review food more often with how amazing my description was:)

I order city tacos all the time and i never had a taco that bad before! The STEAK QUESITACOS was so greasy it was impossible to eat, im not even gonna say about the rest of the order.
