Six months since I first tried CB and it still rates five stars. The half chicken combo is the best deal in town. But, here's the thing. Do not order the quarter chicken combo. You'll end up paying $10 instead of $9 and for less chicken. I don't get up, I no longer try. Just order and enjoy. The pasta salad is killer, but don't try ordering a pasta salad with house salad. They won't do it. You'll get fries, you'll get double pasta, or you'll get rice, but they won't serve you a house salad. It's all good, just weird. Oh, last thing, the fried corn tamale is a favorite but it does not come with refried beans as shown.

Great discovery. I was trying to find a reasonably priced dinner spot when I came across Continental Bakery. Where else can you find a whole rotissary chicken for $15 on Doordash? The chicken was well done with great flavor. It's mildly spicy, not over the top, and not heavily salty. And then there's the bakery. The Tiramisu is solid, but if you love a strong coffee flavor (which I do), then you might find it lacking. Others would say subtle. As for the texture of the cake, it's light and moist. Their other available dessert, a fruit tart, is perfect. Some places use corn syrup to get a glossy shine. It looks pretty, but is, well, just corn syrup. This tart is straight clean fruit, on top of a little cream custard, all on top of a very short crust. Portion sizes are large, so it's great to get both and share.

The packaging they use is not transport friendly. However the food was tasty. The Tamales De Elote was on the dry side. They forgot the Banana Cheese Pastry not did they replace it with any else. The Iced Horchata Con Espresso (20 Oz.) is delicious! I do think that they should adver it at 16oz though as it is on the smaller side.
